What if I purchase a Room Design Plan but want something changed in it?

We are happy to provide one complimentary substitution. If you require more than one change, we are pleased to help you for an additional cost. Just fill out the contact form and we will respond with the next step.

What happens if I purchase a Room Design Plan and one of the items is discontinued?

We realize this happens often as retailers are continuously changing their stock so we do our best at keeping our shopping guides current. If this does occur, we recommend replacing the discontinued item for an item that has the same look and feel. If you need help finding a replacement, we are happy to provide you with one complimentary substitution.

What if I don’t find a style that I like?

We are constantly adding new designs, so keep checking back. If you have a specific style in mind, send us a suggestion on our contact page and that may be our next design! We can also provide you with your very own design. For more information, check out our custom design page.

What if my room is smaller than the design plan states?

This should not deter you from purchasing a plan. You can choose to not use all the recommend items. For example, if we have two occasional chairs in a living room, you might only be able to have one in your space. If you need further assistance, email us or fill out the contact page and we will send you the number of hours you will need for a new space plan, then simply purchase the quanity we tell you of the 1 Hour Consult under the Shop Page, A La Cart. We will then come up with the perfect furniture layout for your space.

What if my room is larger than the design plan states?

This should not deter you from purchasing a plan. You can add more of the recommended items to fulfill the correct proportion for your space. For example, if we have a sofa flanked by one lounge chair, you could add two or have another sofa. IIf you need further assistance, email us or fill out the contact page and we will send you the number of hours you will need for a new space plan, then simply purchase the quanity we tell you of the 1 Hour Consult under the Shop Page, A La Cart. We will then come up with the perfect furniture layout for your space.

Why does the paint color on my walls not look like what’s in the design plan?

All rooms are different, depending on the amount of sunlight, the direction the room is facing in relationship to the sun and the type of light in the room (fluorescent vs. incandescent). This is why we strongly recommend first painting a sample on the wall before painting the entire room. Make sure to watch it for a full day to see what it is like at different times of day. If you find yourself in a paint crisis, we are happy to provide you with one complimentary substitution.

What happens if I do not like the plan after I have purchased it?

We do our best to accurately represent the room design in the sketches and descriptions that are featured on the website. We are happy to provide you with one complimentary item substitution but once a plan is purchased it’s yours and cannot be refunded or exchanged.

What if I love everything about the Design, except for one thing?

What do I do if my design plan shows wood floors but my house has carpet?

These designs can go with any flooring you may have, If you wish to change your current flooring, we have suggested the best type of flooring that is consistent with the look and feel of the room design.
